SFWk-Dubai® was launch at Dubai Expo 2021-2022, which should be the springboard to organise the event on a yearly basis as an International Fashion Week in collaboration with fashion partners in Dubai namely Emirates Holdings, thus promoting the Seychelles as destination and the development of the Fashion Industry SFWk-Dubai® will act as a promotional and marketing Campaign specifically to promote Seychelles as a Tourism Destination from a Fashion-perspective Establish relationships worldwide aiding designers and models, thus influencing the recognition of the event with International Fashion Organizations, and Agencies including both Public and Private Sector Organizations Create an Information exchange program and E-commerce platform for designers, assisting in the development and expansion of services and products, and mostly encouraging the expansion of Seychelles Fashion goods, services, capital, and technology Facilitate a Seychelles Fashion Forum encouraging participation from Seychellois women specifically for empowerment and Social/Human development building sustainable livelihoods for such Communities in Seychelles and investment Forum for both countries
Miss Grand Seychelles Shaniah Dick
The crowned queen of 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 is Shaniah, also known as (@miss_shaniah_23). She is a youthful 19-year-old.
Currently, she is in the final stages of completing her Social Work diploma and has set her sights on pursuing advanced studies. She possesses an immense enthusiasm for connecting and engaging with individuals. Her immense passion for nature is evident as she eagerly explores the fascinating landscapes of Seychelles, embarking on exhilarating hikes and taking in the awe-inspiring flora and fauna that grace the islands.
She firmly holds the belief that if you are not contributing to the solution, you are inevitably contributing to the problem. She aspires to be a beacon of positivity and inspiration to those around her. She is determined to create positive transformations in her society, firmly believing that change begins with her. Although accomplishing it alone may seem impossible, with the collective assistance and contribution of each and every one of you, she can transform the impossible into reality.

Miss univeristy Africa Seychelles Miss Mickella Jean
Ms. Mickella Jean has successfully been appointed by Miss University Africa Seychelles to represent Seychelles at the next Miss University Africa. She was selected among 5 other contestants who responded to the call for the participation in the October this year.
Ms. Mickella Jean is a graduate student from hotel school Tourism and spa
The pageant will take place in the December, in Nigeria and the date is yet to be announced
Note Miss Jean will replace Miss Gabriella Gonthier, who will be representing Seychelles at the Miss Universe in January 2023. Miss Gonthier also holds the title of Miss University Tourism 2022.
During the pageant, Ms. Jean was judged on her project which focused on certain aspects of the empowering the youth through professional dancing as a carrier as she is a professional dancer herself, her character/personality, interviews, her performance for cultural dance, production of a video amongst other criteria.
Her participation in the pageant was facilitated by Telly’s Modelling Agency.
Her official crowning ceremony will be organised soon, and she will be crowned by her predecessor Miss Gabriella Gonthier.
