A Creole word that best describes such action is ‘Zaksyon’, which forms part of our Seychellois Tradition and Culture.
A Creole expression that will enforce social skills, historically and culturally, Seychellois women used to assemble near the riverside to do their laundry. Such an opportunity was one of the societal forces that brought them together. Secondly, local bars are known as "Lakanbiz" on the islands, in the market street (Lari Bazar) or Victoria Market, ‘Dan Bazar Viktorya’ where mostly men are assembled to be ‘azour’ with the latest news (Nouvel).
‘Zaksyon’ is a digital and social platform aimed at spreading the latest business news, promoting, and marketing of new products and services.
